Over the years a “fan favorite” has been this shelf sitting woolen sheep & his 12 monthly blankets.  We are bringing this little fellow back & giving him a fresh set of blankets to adorn his back!  

The sheep is large in size measuring 10 X 20 inches.  Color will be black & cream not wool as shown on our older version.

Each blanket measures 7.5 X 7.75 inches.  The monthly blanket kit will include a full color pattern, wool foundation piece, wool square top, wool for design pieces & a flannel backing.

Please note: This is a correction to the cutting measurements in the finishing instructions. This is for the 4 Star Quilt Blocks, the pieces that make the flying geese units. From Red Print cut: (16) 2 3/8" X 2 3/8" squares (you will not cut 16 of the 2 1/2" X 2 1/2" squares, still need 2). From the Green Print cut: (16) 2 3/8" X 2 3/8" squares (you will not cut the (16) 2 1/2" X 2 1/2" squares). From Cream Print cut: (8) 4" X 4" squares (you will not cut the (8) 4 1/2" X 4 1/2" squares).

The instructions for sewing the 4 Star Quilt Blocks will then read:

Step 1: ...Draw a diagonal line on the back of 16 red print and 16 green print 2 3/8" squares. Step 2: ...place marked squares on opposite corners of the 8 cream print 4" squares.

The flying geese units will be oversized and will need to be trimmed down to 1 3/4" X 3". That is our preferred method of making flying geese.

The wall hanging is wool applique on cotton fabric blocks. The wall hanging kit includes the pattern, fabric & black wool to make the words, letters & scalloped heart, and is $59.95. Please note: Correction in Fabric Cutting; from black print cut 1 @ 1 1/2" X        9 1/2", instead of 1 1/2" X 10 1/2".

Hexi Mats thru the Year

A fun take on the ever popular hexi shape, our December Hexi Mat Thru the Year is the perfect for a table topper or candle mat! Kit includes pattern and wool.

We {LOVE} Hexies and we know you do too!  These mats are are simply sweet!  Each month will feature monthly related items nestled within 3 of the hexies.  The remaining 3 hexies will feature a great texture to enhance the mat.  A variety of stitches will also be used to make the details pop!  This project coordinates with our "A Year of Hexi "WORD" Door Greeters" series!  It is the perfect project to grace your side table!  Pattern & Wool Kit Included.
